The best team won, South Africa's performances over the whole tournament were far better than England. England done well to get to the final, probably more than they deserved but they got there. The best team of the tournament were the All Blacks and I believe if it hadnt been for that dodgy refereeing decision in the France game, allowing the French try to stand even although there was a forward pass!, then the Alll Blacks would have gone all the way and lifted the Webb Ellis trophy.
