Such a shame it happened to such a nice guy, he really was a great example of the aussie bloke and someone that you would love to call a mate.

He was a tv natural, it was impossible not to get carried away with his enthusiasum, often imitated but never bettered.

You always joked that one day a croc would get him, never thought it would actually happen though...

I will aways remember those shorts, "crikey, he's a bit cranky" and how much he loved his kids.
