Silva stable after car accident

Quote:
Former Portsmouth striker Dario Silva is in a stable condition after having part of his right leg amputated following a car crash in Uruguay.
Silva was driving in Montevideo on Sunday when he lost control and hit a column of street lights.

La Espanola hospital doctor Mario Cancela said: "We believe he will make a successful recovery.
Quote from BBC Sport website.

He wont see the fact that he now only has part of his right leg as a "successful recovery"
