Today is John Peel Day, it is 2 years since he died. People may think he was JUST a DJ but he wasnt, he done so much to promote new UK acts and there are so many bands today that owe their success to him. He was a legend and will never be forgotten.
His all time favourite song just proves his knowledge of music, in case anyone doesn't know his favourite song was "Teenage Kicks" by The Undertones.
