Superman Returns had a budget in excess of $200 million before marketing, although that figure is thought to be a conservative estimate as the project was dogged by development problems for a number of years.
Director Brian Singer along with stars Brandon Routh and Kate Bosworth are expected to reprise their roles in the sequel although it's not yet clear whether Kevin Spacey will return as Lex Luthor.

Let's hope they make him a protective suit, against Kryptonite, in this one, as surely he must have realised, by now, that his arch enemies will be using Kryptonite against him
