Shaun the Sheep set for TV fame

Quote:
Plasticine character Shaun the Sheep, first seen in the Wallace and Gromit short film A Close Shave, is to star in a worldwide TV series.
Aardman Animations' 40-part series is to start on CBBC later this year, and is being sold to 72 countries.

Creator Nick Park has won three Oscars for his Wallace and Gromit films, and a fourth for his short Creature Comforts.

It was announced last week that Aardman Animations and US studio Dreamworks had ended a five-film deal early.

This followed reported losses on their second and third collaborations, Flushed Away and Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

The companies' first film together was Chicken Run in 2000.
From the BBC website.

I love Shaun and the entire Wallace and Grommit films so i cant wait to see this programme!
