Boy, 11, dies after pub shooting

An 11-year-old boy has died after being shot in the neck in the Croxteth area of Liverpool.
The boy, who was named as Rhys Jones, was walking across the car park of the Fir Tree public house on Fir Tree Drive on Wednesday night.

A witness said a teenager on a BMX bicycle fired three shots, one of which hit Rhys in the neck.

What the hell is this world coming to when a kid walking across a car park gets murdered?? I really despice the human race sometimes Poor little kid had his whole life in front of him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, hope they catch whoever done this and lock them up for the rest of their life.

i dont live far from "crocky" (croxteth), its a sad thing to lose a life, but of a CHILD....man whoever killed him should be US style killed...chair & a EXTRA WET sponge + 2000 volts!

Lets hope whoever killed poor little Rhys gets a harsher punishment than those two little b@*#ards that killed Jamie Bulger, they have had nouses and cars bought for them by the government and their identity changed, why? For what they done they deserve a life of hatred and revenge attacks. I think "old sparky" is a bit extreme but they should certainly never be released from prison.

What a tagic waste of a childs life, my heart is with his family, may he RIP.
