Brown vows to fight world terror

Gordon Brown has vowed to "step up" efforts to defeat terrorism in Pakistan in the wake of opposition leader Benazir Bhutto's assassination.
The prime minister also revealed he had spoken with United States President George Bush and Australia's new Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

Mr Brown added: "It is clear that we must take immediate action and we will give whatever help we can."

He promised they would defeat those who would thwart democracy by "bombing".

Is this his way of saying he is planning to send British troops out there to get killed? If George "master of the universe" Bush has anything to do with it there will be troops out there within days!!!

Everytime they mention defeating terrorism and George Bush I cringe because it normally means him sending his troops in to kill innocent civilians!

As i have said in a good few previous posts we should get our troops out and get the hell outta dodge and leave em too it

The problem that I have is that Lil' Bush just had to send our boys over there to fight a fight that his dad started.

If his girls were out there he would have a different outlook. These young men are not chess pieces for him to use.

Do not get me wrong---I do not support the war but I do support the men and women over there fighting it.

I am with jsdadx2, I whole heartedly support all our troops out there but not the idiot politicians who sent them out there. At least we are in the last few months of Bush's presidency!
