Girl, 15, gets life for murder

A teenage girl who stabbed a young mother to death after bingeing on alcohol and cocaine has been sentenced to life in jail.

Jordan Jobson, 15, repeatedly slashed Samantha Madgin when two groups of youngsters clashed in an alley in Wallsend, North Tyneside, last August.

Ms Madgin, 18, had given birth to her son Callum just 10 weeks earlier.

Jobson, who drank lager, vodka and took lines of cocaine before the attack, was given a minimum term of 15 years.

She had admitted manslaughter but was found guilty of murder at Newcastle Crown Court on 3 March.

I wish more people here in the US think like you Setarime, it seems like a lot of people here wouldn't even put her on trial as an adult... I say 15 is old enough to understand right from wrong, wouldn't you guys?
