The Irwin video: Would you watch it?

Crocodile hunter Steve Irwin's final moments were captured on camera. But should that film ever be broadcast to the watching public?

I say no, there would be no benefit from it being released to the general public, all it would do would be cause more distress for his family. It should be destroyed

Well apparently his dying words were to show it, so as to highlight the dangers of stingrays, i can see both sides to this, yes HB it would cause more upset for the family, however are they going against his dying wishes? it could be shown up to the point of the strike but not showing him being injured, either way he still died doing what he loved, and in my oppinion he did well to last this long doing all the crazy stuff he did in his life time.

I wasnt aware that he had requested it been shown. I understand what u are saying stubacca but if it is released it will be shown right to the very end of the film Very hard for his young kids to understand I would have thought

very true, hence i thought stop it immediatley after the stingray struck!
and i am sure that it will be on the net soon enough! which again is wrong!

i think steve irwins wishes for the video to be shown ought to be granted but as stubacca says probably just to when he got struck by the stingray. but then again haggis i see your point that it would be extreemly hard for the family

IMO....the family of Steve should c it 1st...then, if they approve of it, then show it

Agree with TGL, and then if they agree to it being publicised then Ok .. and as you say stubacca, stop it before the actual incident occurs, although if seen in it's entirity, it could also serve as a warning to others.

i think thats why Steve Irwin wanted it showing, to serve as a warning , to show exactly how unpredicable nature is and can be.
