Just kind of weird, I grew up learning that there were 9 planets in our solar system, and now one is just not gonna be there anymore.

Lol, I fail to see any scientific logic in that mate, it's a shame they have nothing better to do .. it will still be there .. even if they call it a ' Hamburger '

LOL, good point Rocol. Guess it isn't going anywhere, it's just going to be weird to look in the science textbooks and see that there are only 8 planets in the solar system.

Like Rocol said, pluto is still going to be there, its just not going to count as one of the planets anymore. Now theres only going to be 8.

i agree....a planet as a planet if its have a surface & something on it....like apes (us ) but a hambruger planet wouldnrt be that bad.....

how can anybody decide if a planet is there or not even if it aint big there must still be fragments left of it,who are they to decide that no one is in charge of space and to me ther will always be 9 planets regardless of what they say

Pluto will always be a own planet for me, no matter the size, simply because you are used to it beeing a planet.
