Hundreds of police recruits have created a new world record for the highest number of people to be handcuffed together.
A total of 305 recruits, officers and staff took part in the stunt at the Metropolitan Police's training centre in Hendon, north London. Fortunately for participants, no keys went missing during the record attempt. The event raised around £1,000 for the recruits' chosen charity, the Richard House Children's Hospice in Beckton, London
