'Strict' father faces jail

When a Florida father's four-year-old son got out of hand he decided to teach him a lesson - by shooting him with a BB air gun.
The boy had just shot his two-year-old sister with the same gun, so Terry Henderson, 23, figured that a bit of eye-for-an-eye was just the ticket. He now faces a possible 30 years in jail. A police spokesman said: "We take it very seriously. Sure, it's not the way you handle things. You can't teach your kids today that violence takes care of violence."


I read this and agreed with the police there are better ways to teach our kids a lesson rather than what this father resorted to,well thats what i think anyway

i have been shot by a BB gun and it really hurts! but like you guys say there are much better ways to teach your kids a lesson! IMO though 30yrs is a little harsh!
but hey if you do the crime prepare for the time!

Yes a fair judgement a bit too high but deserved, theres so many sick people out there stupid enough to hit kids with BB guns.

my question is why on earth did he have a bb gun within reach of a four year old in the first place!!!!!
yeah to an extent i can see his eye for an eye answer but the gun shouldnt have been there in the first place...i mean what would have happend had it been a shot gun!
