Pearce sacked as Man City manager

Manchester City have sacked boss Stuart Pearce after two years in charge.
The former England captain's contract at the City of Manchester Stadium has been terminated with immediate effect just a day after the end of the season.

Chief executive Alistair Mackintosh told the club's website: "The board of directors would like to thank Stuart for his hard work and service."

A bit suspicious that Paul Jewell resigns as Wigan manager hours before Man City sack "psycho" I feel really sorry for Pearce I dont think he has done a bad job with the players and funds he had available, lets hope he isnt out of the game long, he is one of the few characters left. It's good to see Stuart Pearce back in football as the England U21 coach, after their win the other night, he and the players seem to be settled and working well together, i wish him every success for the future.
