Silva stable after car accident

Quote:
Former Portsmouth striker Dario Silva is in a stable condition after having part of his right leg amputated following a car crash in Uruguay.
Silva was driving in Montevideo on Sunday when he lost control and hit a column of street lights.

La Espanola hospital doctor Mario Cancela said: "We believe he will make a successful recovery.
Quote from BBC Sport website.

He wont see the fact that he now only has part of his right leg as a "successful recovery"

I agree mate, another case of ' Hospital Terminology '

Unless they are one of those hospitals that recieved ' Stolen Bones ', if they are, they may stick him a new leg on

I agree Haggis i dont think i would class losing part of my right leg successful,i guess we have to be thankful that he still is alive, and i hope that he will be able to come to terms with what has happened to him and he can adjust his life accordingly. Best wishes to him

I know what you mean tankgirl but he is a professional footballer, or should I say WAS a professional footballer so losing part of a leg is going to be harder on him than it would to someone who works in an office
