Animal testing

I have just seen a brief clip about animal testing and if its right or wrong. The clip i seen suggested that some animal testing is to help mentally handicapped kids,so my thought is is it right to do animal testing to save lifes?

This will be quite an interesting one chick, my opinion is that if the testing will be to the benefit of us humans then go for it. I am sure then will be some tree huggers who think any sort of animal testing is wrong

IMO we are top of the food chain, if the tests will improve our lives then so be it! i know it might appear cruel, however as long as it improves our knowledge of ilnesses and drugs to combat them then good!

Voted yes, as long as it is for the good of us Humans and not just for some Profit Making Product .. also providing that the animals are not treated inhumanely.

If it's going to benefit us, do it. But they shouldn't do it unless they think it will actually work... not just to see what will happen.

but we are the supreme mammal, do you think a lion takes the most healthy to catch, no it goes for the weakest as thats the easiest to catch, thats nature the animals at the top prey on the ones below them, so in that case, i think yes it might appear cruel but it's benefitting the top of the pile!
thats my oppinion
