Agree with that comment Saurgrist.

The thing that is irking us is the fact that the US is known to have a stong alliance with Isreal, is known to be supplying them with weapons and yet Bush is standing by and trying to get the UN to get involved, whilst he is doing nothing ... had it been Israel that was on the recieving end, methinks it would not have been long before he took some action against the Lebanon.

I have no beef at all with anyone in the US, it is beyond you ordinary folks control, as it is with us also, but it does annoy me when our Prime Minister is allowing himself to be cohersed into committing our Troops into another possible war that does not involve us

I know, it sucks, and I don't want any of our troops, England's troops, Canada's troops, or anyone else to have to fight anymore. But personally, I really think that the next world war may be very close. Hezbollah has been linked to Iran. When some of their headquarters have been raided, there have been orders found from the Iranian leader, and that is not going to sit well, as Iran is already considered a threat.

I also feel very bad for Israel, who has been under attack constantly from terrorists such as Hamas and the Palestinians. I understand they lost their land, but they lost it in a fight years ago. There's not much you can do about that, especially when you don't have a good army. The fact is that obviously nobody wants them in their countries either, or we probably would have seen someone take them in. Nobody wants terrorists residing on their land...

I am a little worried since I am the perfect age to be drafted if one is implemented. If I was drafted, I would go to fight because this country has given me so many opportunities that I would not have gotten in other places, and because I love America and would risk my life for her. I would not want to fight, but if my country needed me, I would do so.

I am hoping that our troops do not get sent over, but I think it will happen eventually. The Middle East is an entire mess and will be very difficult to solve. But I think it needs to be fixed because it is a threat to all of the western world. These people will die for their cause and don't care if they do, and because of that, they are a very dangerous threat to us.

Well said mate

I also agree that if there is a WW3, it will start in the Middle East

I hope that it never comes to the situation where the US implements ' Drafting ' .. whereas over here, it would probably do some of our ' youngsters good to both taste a bit of discipline and give them pride in their country.
