Will you be buying Windows Vista?
Just wondred what was the general thought on the new Windows Os? Will you be buying it or will it be more trouble than its worth? Like Xp there were teething probs till the service packs were brought out. Maybe the price is too high,what do you think?

No, only because it doesn't work well on computers that were not built for it... I will stay with XP until I get a new computer. ;)

Same as the rest really, i used to wirk in a computer shop and i spoke to one of the guys there the other day and he said he was told to install it on the PC's, once he had done they all crashed and would not work.
So for me no i will be sticking with XP

I think I wont buy it until my hardware is advanced enough to hold the OS and XP does the job for me and linux is a much better OS any day ;)

I have just bought Windows Vista, what can I say its very impressive, my computer doesn't have the new 64 bit processor and runs very smoothly I'm very impressed with windows vista has many new features, more animated desktops and features, once I installed it I didn't need to install anything, didn't need to install the sound card, graphics card, windows done it all for me at the start, just install boot and do whatever you want straight up, instead of having to install stuff to run games windows vista does it for you
 It's very impressive I'm wrapped with what i got. |

No I'll wait until I buy a new PC. It seems that older PCs work slower with Vista than XP. Wouldnt like to spend money to lose performance (although I still buy beer wierdly enough)
