My PC is deceased...Its a dead PC...

Just like the old parrot scetch my PC is no more.....

Just last night it gave up the will to live...It made a funny noise and swithched off..

Dont ask me why....I just dont know.....

So i am using a spare machine off my mate, purley so i can get online and find me sen some new bits...
It gives me a good escuse to go back to a P4,never really like the AMD to be honest...
It wont be owt fancy, summet like a 3.2 ghz wrapped in an Asus board..No fancy whistles and bells....But i like how the Intels work....
Besides i want to find one which will take my PC320 DDR ram..

Ebay here i come.....

.. sorry to hear that mate .. you must have been overworking it

No doubt you will have checked for the obvious faults, that can be easilly corrected so it does sound to be a fatal problem ... but I will ask if you have thoroughly checked all the power supply connections, etc, best done with an voltometer, then you will be able to trace any ' open circuit ' faults ... no doubt you will have everything of importance backed up onto discs, so I doubt you will be in limbo for very long ;)

All my bits were checked using a machine that i knew worked......Swapped chips and motherboards around...
Chip and board are fried....RAM is ok.....

Ebay has popped up a P4 3.2ghz and an Asus board which will accept my 3200 ram....£125 brand new boxed up....

Dont seem too bad a price to me....We'll see..

Lol .. Ram = Random Access Memory .. basically, it keeps track of all the info that the computer is using, but doesn't store it .. only temporary untill the prog demanding the info has finished with it ;)
