Raptor (UGC)
You don’t have to be a 40-year-old virgin to enjoy sitting back and waggling a joystick.
Fans of the hit comedy might recognise the reclining seat that Andy Stitzer relaxes into to play his games.
Now UK buyers have the chance to get their hands on one, as the Raptor and the Ultimate Gaming Chair (UGC) finally get a release over here.
The Raptor allows gamers to connect their own wired controller to the chair, for a familiar playing experience that’s enhanced by the other features.
For real power, the UGC offers built-in split left and right-hand controllers, which fold back into the arm rests when not in use.
Both chairs feature a 12-motor vibration system that will shake even hardened game fans and ground effects lighting for action-packed realism.
The 3D stereo speakers provide an immersive sound experience, but can be silenced using the headphone socket for night time play.
The chairs are compatible with Xbox, Xbox Live, PS2, PSOnline, Sony PSX, Gamecube and PC/Mac using USB 2.0.
However, they currently only offer audio for the XBOX 360, Sony PSP, Nintendo DS and MP3 Players.
The Raptor is priced at around £225 and the Ultimate Game Chair will cost around £350.
Seems a nice bit of kit for the gaming fans out there..
