What the admin choose to do is up to them. It wont affect me as work will be keeping me away from the pc anyhow. But i just dont think that what he would of wanted.
I may not have know him as well as some but hey thats my opinion.

I definitely understand what you are saying BC. Rocol wouldn't want the board closed, but this is going to be done just out of respect for the great person he was.

I understand aswell BC, I kinda agree with you, he would not want the board shut down for a day, but you see, the ones who knew him, have to have this done so they can grieve properly, so forgive us Rocol, its all for you babe....

I can see both sides of this one, it is a tough one, but i think that its a fitting tribute from all of us here on GK, I know he would have wanted us to just carry on but its our way of saying how special he was!

Different opinions yes. But I thought it would be a nice thing to do. It will be a special day for all to think about Rocol some extra and take a break from GK.

I think the board closing for a day is fitting for the man who dedicated alot of time and effort into keeping this forum a float,i knew Rocol for about 5 or 6 years and there was nothing Rocol wouldnt have done for us all. We will all miss him and although the board will close for the day imo what diffrence does it make as i said he put in alot of time and its a mark of respect to Rocol
