Talk about suffering for your art. Hollywood star Catherine Zeta Jones had her toe nail ripped off while filming her latest movie.


The 36 year-old wife of Michael Douglas was filming scenes for upcoming Houdini biopic Death Defying Acts at London's Savoy Hotel when a clumsy stagehand wearing heavy boots trod on her flip-flop clad feet.


An insider told The Sun: "It virtually took the toenail clean off. The nurse was called in. She was in pain but didn't have a tantrum." Ouch!


But executive producer Dan Lupovitz played down the incident, commenting: "It was a minor incident that hardly disrupted filming. She's fine."
