It's a great series, but I hope they don't ruin it by changing it too much or making too many too fast, because I could see that happening. I really liked the change for RE 4 though.

I think RE4 was defiantly one of the greatest games ever made. It revolutionized the series to what it should be for next gen gaming. The old way was too old fashioned. Not to say they were not good games because they were awesome. But RE5 will expand on the way RE4 was done and improve in key areas.

It is also going to be on Xbox 360 for those who did not know this.

I really don't like RE going to the 360. Resident Evil has always been on playstation, back when I first played RE1 on my ps1 and the dogs jumped through the window in the hall got me hooked on that game, making it one of my altime favorite horror series. Bad enough it went to gamecube and the ps2 didn't get a remake of re1 and got re4 way after gamecube had gotten it. Eh, I guess I'm just a bit of a sony fanboy. I'd say RE2 was the best in the series.

Yeah, I only don't like it because I don't have or want an Xbox 360. I have a GC and those versions were better than PS2... as they had better graphics and such.

Ah console wars, always a good laugh but can't claim I don't partake in them as I do

Personally I like all the consoles be it the new wii or whatever.

I have a 360 right now and I love it, I had xbox and loved it. I also have had ps and ps2 and plan on getting ps3 in the next 6months.

They all have great games, amazing graphics, and unique things about them all.

You can't beat xbox live though, hard to argue it isn't the best online console service right now. Not saying ps3's isn't good but xbox live is defiantly the best one.

I am very excited for RE5 on 360 because now I wont have to get ps3 as soon as possible.

The only reason I wanted ps3 over the 360 was because of GTA IV, MGS4, and RE5 and since all of those will be on the 360 i'm in no rush to get the ps3 but I know I will get one anyways.

I know eventually the 360 will get Metal Gear Solid 4 so its no huge deal to me to go and buy ps3 right now.

I'll wait a while.

Didn't know that all of those games were coming to 360... good deal. I only don't want one of those because of the price, and same with PS3... would do the Wii but not as interested as I have more games to beat for PS2 and GC, and am very busy anyway... but the new ones do look great graphically.

I'm very certain that new high tech graphics to this game will certainly rock the game! I found the old Resident Evils much more horrorful than the new RE4 for some reason maybe because of the soun effects and the fact that you can do any head shots and kill them instantly and much other reasons.

the resident evil series is definatley one of my favorites. i loved 4 but didnt and im sure 5 will be even better. i cant wait for it to come out. does anyone know when its supposed to be released
