Another question from tn .....

Hi all....sorry but i do have another question....

If i have got this right dimensions for avatars are :-
80x80 pixels 19.5 kb...max

Dimensions for sigs :-
500x100 pixels but only 2kb max.... ???????????

Is that right or wrong....The sig 2kb seems very small to me....

And quite cheekily i have saved a couple off here and they are bigger (kb)...

What are the max limits ?? do tell please...

I can feel my creative juices wanting to flow and make me a sig...

Well mate, seeing as it is you .. design yourself a signature pic, and either upload it, as an attachment or send it to me, and we will see how big it is, in both pixel & file size .. if it is ok and you want to use it, we will add it to our server.

As you can well appreciate, we are not running a free board and do not want vast amounts of disc space being taken up with sig pics, attachments, etc, plus the fact that once they start to get too large, they may slow down the page loading times for some folks ;)

What if i make a sig around the 500x100 no more than 50kb max.....
I recon that seems like a fair size....

If i host it on photobucket that will help should it not ?
