Part of a post made in admin yesterday:

Been honest i've had enough here,since Rocol death its gone down bank big time and members are not coming nor staying here.. I've try to keep GK alive with posts and threads but its not helping with a average of 10 members per day...its not worth the time and effort keeping Gk anymore..

If nothing has changed tomorrow i'm gone forever to all and GK,Rocol will always be with me not matter what...

Just here to say i'm gone and i don't think i'll be back either and pointed out on the above and i've had some time to think about it and have decided to leave..

I must say tho i have made alot of friends here and hopefully keep in touch through emails etc etc ..
A sad day for me but i'll catch ya all laterzzz,will be on for the night off and on,bye and stay safe to all and GKF..

This is bad news for GKF, if O.G leaves then i have not got enough technical expertise to keep GKF on, so that means i have to go aswell.
Good luck O.G sorry to see you go, will miss ya, but i understand why you are going. Stay safe x

Rocol did all the background work with GK server/domain/updates/FTP,that means we have no details to carry on with,or we start a fresh and at the present moment we have no members returning or starting,with an average of 10 members a day its not worth the time and effort,which means alot of work..

Also when people come to GK they don't stay for long,or when members join they aren't active with making threads and posts..
Any forum is hard the best of times to keep active and the money involved can add up depends what stats you want etc etc ..

ah i see, it will be sad to lose you pal, so stay in touch, i am spreading the good word of GKF so if you pop back there might be a few more members! stay safe pal and like i say keep intouch please!

I don't know if I can do anything to change your mind O.G, but I wish you would stay. That's really all I can say.

GK is already not the same without our friend Rocol and now if you leave, it will really be hurting much more. I'm going to try to be around as long as possible, and try to get new members, but there's only so much anyone can do. I love this site because of the closeness of the members. I actually like smaller forums more because you seem to know each other. I understand if you don't think it's worth it to keep it around though because of the small number of members on the board.

If GKF does go under because we cannot keep it going, I will be around as much as possible still. The captain always goes down with the ship, and I feel that way is the only way.

If you do leave though, I wish you well and hope you will still keep in touch.

I do understand how you feel OG, and you are correct in some points. If we don't have the info we need to restart and that is alot of work. Could we please discuss this tho before you just abrupt leave GK?

I echo everybody elses thoughts OG, I do hope you have a change of heart and stay, both tankgirl and I will do as much as we can to help. As saurgrist says because this is a small site we are like a wide spread family, I know i have only been a member for about 18months but from day one I have felt welcome. I understand your reasons pal, if you do decide to go I hope we can all stay in touch. I will try as much as I can to get new members or whatever else is needed to keep the site going.
