All these are great idea's so far!

Trading links would be a great idea also I think. Like lets say one gaming site trades there link for anothers link. Like a section for other reccomended sources that kind of thing. One forum back links to another and so forth.

Partnerships is another good idea works somewhat the same as above but the members of both forums work together to create a community for both forums.

There are a couple great articles for you Admins in here that if not aware of is THE place to go for Administrators.

The forum is great for Admin support also.

I have been trying to implement these in my new forum but it takes time. I just hope both of our forums will be huge in the future.

One of the biggest things which i'm sure all the staff here knows make sure the new members are treated like diamonds! They are what make your community grow!

I think thats what loses touch in much larger forums is the sense of community isn't as strong because there is a lot of flaming etc.

O yeah for newer members never used the work "Try the search button" or something like that. Always direct and never say thoe cursed words. Be nice to the newbies lol. Not saying anyone does that just quoting a few useful tips from the Admin Zone

I recon we should make guests actually have to register to view the forums cause whenever I'm on theres at least 10+ guests viewing our pages so if we changed it there might be more members.

naw...then guests wont register & the search bots wont be able to index some of the threads, so we wont get extra members from search engines

Yeah it's a double edged sword kinda thing. Some members will register so they will be able to view the content of the forum while others will go to a forum where they can automatically see the content before registering.

So either way you still lose, guests are annonymous and unless we got a good reason for them to actually register and start posting in our forums then im out of ideas.

I think we need to introdce some new areas such as Motors and more around PC's and modding PC's, every is into it, i know we are a gaming community but we can expand on what we have io know it will take a whil but i am sure people will get involved. i have loads more ideas but just cant put them down lol
