Important: GKF future

Hi all.

To be honest I don't know what will happen with GKF. If now O.G and Dee leaves, that will make me here alone as admin. And lately I haven't had the biggest interest in forums. Also Rocol was a reason that kept me active here.

Running with this host and vB costs money and requires time. Rocol used to do alot here as you know. And now when he isn't here anymore we got some problems as we don't have any info on host, ftp etc. I used to have ftp password but have lost it on comp.

As a founder of GKF it's my responsability to handle this problem. I wouldn't want to shut down GK, especially since I know Rocol would wanted us to keep GK running. It would be sad to close down the forums.

If we 3 admins can't solve this, we either had to close down or go on a free board, and the second solution sounds best to me. GKF was on 2 different free hosts before we got our own so it should be ok, just that we will lose some major hacks, skins etc.

Any comments appreciated.

I have heard from Rocols son and he may have some details, i will be seeing him tomorrow night, as i said NV, money is not the problem, i can do my very best but cannot do it alone,i really want to keep GKF as it is but i need technical help.

if we have to go on a free board and lose some stuff then so be it, as long as we dont all lose each other, thats what rocol would have wanted. but anything i can do just ask.

I hope it doesn't close. The free forum is all right at best, but I understand that this costs a lot of money to keep up and running. Let me know what's going on, I really don't know what to say...

i will go and learn how to use these things called computers properly! if it means that GK will still be working! I am going to ask a pal of mine and Baps who's a comp whizz and the brother in law if they will join the team, i will get all i can involved to be a part of this great site and that is a promise! HB and I will spread the word at work.

I will do my best with Baps and Benzoboi to get more members.

didnt mean to do that but i am serious me and Baps will do all we can! Baps is not working at the minute so if people tell her how to do stuff she can do it! I will help as much as I can
