just had a phone call off Roy's son.....

He has been going through his dads phone book and informing everybody of the terrible news....

I had no idea of what to say to him and could not express my sorrow enough..He was very calm and had the most unenvious job of telling Roy's friends of the news...My heart went with him..

It turns out Roy passed away suddenly all by him self and was found by a member of his family..I can not imagine what that would feel like..

It's unoficial as yet but it seems like the funeral will be on Monday 3pm...

I can not speak for all on here but i know i will be pausing what i am doing,close my eyes and i will be thinking of you Roy.

I am still very upset of loosing a good friend....It's just not right....

well.....God take care of him....

i agree...its a hard job, but some1 has to do it, it'll be around 7PM when i remember him ;)

Indeed sad news. And very tough for his family.

I hope we know what happened later, because Roy said he was feeling ok and all of sudden he's gone No hospital or anything, suddenly as a car accident. This came without a warning which makes it more shocking and sad.

It's also very tough and sad to lose a good friend, in real life or internet. GK will not be same without Rocol.

By what he said i gather they have to wait for the coroners report before and official statement or certified cause of death but they thought heart failure was the cause....

maybe his family can be shown the forums and how much we all miss him and are deply shocked,heart stricken at the sadest of news...Maybe they can gain warmth from what they read...

thats not a bad idea, when his family see his forum, & the messages they will be happy that Roy had friends @ every turn

i think it would really help them to see that they are not alone feeling the loss of Roy, even all the sigpics that have personal messages in for him, i hope his son has had a look, like you say TNX thats a job that nobody should have to do, my thoughts are with Roy's son and the rest of his family and friends.
all i hope is that he died with no pain or suffering.
