The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Has anyone played this for GameCube? It just came out and I will be buying it in a few days when I get home from school... Just wanted to know what people thought, as it looks amazing.

Im sure it is good on GameCube but do yourself the favor and get the Wii for that game. It will look a lot better and play better.

I have a few games on the 360 that I had on Xbox and they all play so much differently I mines will of never played them before.

ITs all right fans of the nintendo would love the gamecube but not so PSX and xbox fans, good for transport and cheap prices I guess.

This game is awesome !

Didnt think the control system would work and it did take a while to get used to it.

Now I dont think I could go back to keyboard and mouse. It just feels natural.

Well everyone I have a wii at my place and I did buy the new zelda game and I will say it is pretty fun. The graphics look pretty good defiantly not a ps3 or 360 game but they are better then a lot of gamecube games.


Sadly the wii is a slightly beefed up ps2/gamecube because the processing power is the same as the ps2 and the graphics are only slightly better then both. I know they did not make the wii to compete with the power of the 360 or ps3 but seriously. I think they could have made the wii a lot more powerful but at the same time less powerful then the 360 and ps3 to maintain the "purely gaming aspect"

Youre right Subzero, they could have made it more powerful. However I think Nintendo wanted to capture a different market to the PS3/360. Nintendo, from way back when they started out making card games, have always emphasised the fun element rather than be technically the best.
Think back to the SNES v Megadrive. The Megadrive was way more advanced but which had the biggest following and best games. Same with PSP and Gameboy DS. The PSP should wipe the floor with it (Ive got one, that screen is amazing!) but the DS outsells it in every territory, even Japan!

I apologise because I sound like a geek - er (Get off that soap box glyn!)

Getting back to the point, the wii is not a "serious" console like the others. Its more pick up, have a laugh, pretend your 5 years old for a while, then put it down again. The PS3/360 are more hardcore.
