Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hands-On Update
Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hands-On Update - Wii News at GameSpot

This game will hands down be the best game out there for the Wii I think, at least multiplayer wise. If it's anything like it's predecessor, it should be amazing.

According to the article, the characters are Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Fox McCloud, Pikachu, Diddy Kong, Pit, Meta Knight, Ike (from the Fire Emblem series), Peach, Yoshi, Sonic, and Bowser. Then of course, I am sure you are able to unlock a bunch like the last game.

Check out the screenshots and stuff, it looks great
