Well i have been a naughty boy....
let me explain...After my upgrade the noise level of the box standard Intel cpu cooler fan has really annoyed me.very loud indeed.So i decided to buy a better quieter hetsink\fan.After a couple of days making up my mind on which to get i plumped for quite a dear one but it is meant to be very good. Check it out http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Product...4&GroupID=1106 But that is not all....Oh dear i just could'nt help my self...Along with that i ordered some new RAM....I got 2 sticks of DDR2 667 1gig. This maxes out my new board.I have never had so much RAM to play with,it's always been 512mb or even 256mb.. These new bits will compliment my newmachine very nicely... Thanks Ang.....i love you.......awwwwwww....

Well first to answer the question..
RAM stands for Ramden Access Memory....The little sticks of memory which is vital for the PC....The more RAM the smother the PC will run and hopefully faster. As for my new stuff. Well my board is maxed out to 2gig....Just looking at the system info makes me all warm inside and yes i will say it does seem to open windows better... A fsts cpu and lots of RAm makes for a nice smothe PC... The fan...Well i never realised i was buying Frankensteins monster.It's HUGE....Fits in a treat though.And what a difference.I can hear myself think..I love it... One thing it never mention was the install of the fan.There is a special adapter which fits under the motherboard.So i had to remove the board from the case to fit it..Makes for a nice secure fit though..... More than happy....dare'nt spend owt else for a while now though... |
