New PC bits arrive Saturday - hopefully
Well ordered myself some new PC bits today.A new board,chip and a bigger psu..

The chip is a Pentium D 945 dual core 3.4ghz = £99

The board is not the one i really really wanted but to make sure i didnt end up spending too much i made a compramise and orderd a board which would take the new chip but also take my exsisting RAM and graphics card.newer RAM and a newr PCI -e graphics card were gunna cost me more than i had so i guess they will have to be updated at a later time.

Asrock Dual VSTA = £37

Upgraded my PSU though to a 570w one....I recon my 300w might not be up to the job of a better chip and bigger RAM ( some day )...Easy to forget about that part of the PC i recon...

Trust PowerMaster 570W Pro PSU Dual Fan PW-5500 = £24

Will fill you in tomorrow,hopefully it will all come.I paid a little extra for a Sturday befor noon delivery...

Reason...Well its my 40th Birthday....Good enough reason in my eyes....

Wow what service.....All my new bits arrived just after 8 this morning...
I know i paid extra for the Saterday\next day delivery but if your in need of bits what a service...

I got them off Micro Direct and i will definatly use them again.Easier than going up to my local comp fare..

I'll be on later with my new faster Intel machine...
I just know i will have to format my drive and do a fresh install cause the drive wont recognise the board....But hey,i like that bit....

Off to save my files...

well i made...Phew....here at last....

All went well.Did'nt rush it and read through the info very carefully.Did end up having to do a fresh install but for the better i recon..

Luckyly though,well no luck to be honest.Once a month i always back up all my important files and i always save everything i download to a dvd.So i never loose owt really.( done that too many times in the past )

I love when it says i have a 3.4 in and the PC is running at that.not like my AMD 3gig...Run at 2.1 or there abouts...

Seems to be running very well and i'm happy with it...

More RAM and a better graphics card at a later date and job done then..
